ABOUT ME

My name is John Alistair Sweetman, I am 14 years old, my birthday is June 4th, 2003. I have a mother named Annette, a father named John, one younger brother by one and a half years named Alex and two siamese cats named Echo and Isla. I was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. I have moved once from Wake Forest to Falls River when I was 4 years old. I am part of soccer team at North Carolina FC Youth (previously CASL) and have played since I was 5 years old. I have been captain of my soccer team for the last 4 years. When I was 8 I played basketball for two seasons but I did not really enjoy it. I enjoy drawing cartoons and animals and I like to watch football and my two favorite teams are NC State and the Dallas Cowboys I attend Heritage High school and used to attend Durant Middle school and Durant elementary school. Finally, I have gotten good grades my whole school career.

During the summer, I mow the neighbor’s lawn and my own almost every weekend. I volunteered to help the poor and homeless people with my family in downtown Raleigh by giving them food like Kool Aid, water, chicken, green beans, ham and cheese sandwiches and chocolate chip cookies for desert. I was part of the beta club in middle school.

I am most interested in architectural engineering and computer science. I plan to be an architectural engineer. Every 2 years for Christmas, I go to Ohio with my mom’s side of the family. For 4th of July, I go to Ohio for a parade or we stay home and celebrate with my dad’s side of the family who live in Raleigh and South Carolina. I plan to keep this tradition in the future. I want to go to NC State or another college that has a good architectural program. I will do my best to work hard to be what I dream I can be.
